I find this topic too offensive to people that are offended by the offensive topics so often created to offend the people who are easily offended by inoffensive topics.
Damn... that sentence was such an offense to the English language I don't think it made any sense. Please Garden help me.

Is it a sin to invoke Garden's name in vain?
Or is Garden more likely to forgive us for our offenses?

We are already damnned in sin. Only through the atonement of our redeemer, Garden H. Christ, can our souls be saved from the fiery depths of hell for all eternity.

When did we start capitalizing the name of The Great One? I'd like to point out that The Great One Himself did not capitalize His own name, although I think it is a good idea because it shows we recognize His greatness.

I decided to capitalize it. Just like it's God, not god. Thor, not thor, Allah, not allah, Odin, not odin, etc.

Based on what, your evil secular scientific evidence? Pssht. My <insert name of holy text here> is all the proof I need for the existence of <insert deity associated with holy text here>.

So what are you going to do to me for disagreeing with you? Are you going to <insert deranged method of torture here>?

Your <insert name of holy text here> is rife with inconsistencies and contradictions. Your <insert name of religious group here> is full of violent, hate mongering people who try to suppress the expression of the those who don't agree with them.

I don't have a favorite deity really, but I do have a favorite prophet:

Zarquon

I patiently await for his second coming. Some of my other favorite (false?) prophets include David Koresh, Joseph Smith, Moses, and of course Pat Buchanan.

I'm surprised Zoroaster isn't on your list. He's the best prophet of them all, that is, he could give Moses the old school beat down.

Favorite prophets, eh? I'm with Wolfgang Pauli on this one: "God does not exist and Paul Dirac is his prophet"

I have heard that quote before but I forgot. Screw you Zarquon, my new favorite prophet is Dirac! Words of wisdom from my new deliverer:

I must say that I am very dissatisfied with the situation, because this so called good theory does involve neglecting infinities which appear in its equations, neglecting them in an arbitrary way. This is just not sensible mathematics. Sensible mathematics involves neglecting a quantity when it turns out to be small - not neglecting it just because it is infinitely great and you do not want it! (Paul Dirac, On Quantum Mechanics and Mathematics, 1937)

I don't know, but I think his apocalypse story probably involves the Coming of the Great Red Rototiller.

I sense that garden worship is splitting into two great sects. The ones who believe it should be Garden, and the others who believe it should be garden.

I stole them from another forum I frequent, saved them to my desktop, then uploaded them to photobucket (or any free file hosting website). then I post them as images by surrounding the url with <img> </img> tags (except with square brackets).

I sense that garden worship is splitting into two great sects. The ones who believe it should be Garden, and the others who believe it should be garden
.

There is only one sect, the Universal Church of the Temple of Garden. In the back of the church there is a garden. It is tended by gardeners. Gardeners are the acolytes of Garden.

I think Garden has not returned because we have not spilled the blood of the innocent. Garden demands a sacrifice.

twistor wrote:Who is Garden's prophet?
grae313 has already identified marcelpopescu as garden's disciple due to his epic post on 12/7/07 that used a dialect very similar to garden's:
marcelpopescu wrote:I' am interesting in this domain and I want to know what are the materials which describes the basic ideeas in this domain.
grae313 wrote:garden's disciple

And now:
grae313 wrote:I sense that garden worship is splitting into two great sects. The ones who believe it should be Garden, and the others who believe it should be garden.
garden is not a modest god, as we sensed from what he wrote in his bogus profile... the only reason he registered his username uncapitalized is that his computer skills are as limited as his english, and he does not know about the "shift" key.

(don't anybody tell me "but wait, his posts had capital letters in it." He is a power-hungry deity and thus is aware of the "control" key and therefore can copy/paste capital letters used elsewhere on a thread whenever he is inspired to make a post.)

Such goedelian self-referential questions are meaningless to garden, who exists outside the concepts of "hotness," or "burritos."

A classic evasive answer from a true believer. Will I wasn't aware you were a Gardenite, or maybe you're part of that heretical sect the gardenites? The Gardenites are Garden's chosen people, and shall someday inherit the earth. After this happens all admissions committee membes will be cast into Hell, or as His Holiness would say:

"*** off the school with damn committee"

We're all scientists here; garden asks not for your "faith." He asks merely for your belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence. And to *** off the admissions committees.

Haha I had to go back and edit my post so I could put his catch phrase in there. I had to look it up to get the exact wording right.
