I like my TAs (not to mention professors) to have an exceptional mastery of physics and an exceptional mastery of the English language. I've met plenty of foreigners and domestics who have these traits, and plenty lacking in one or both.

I'm a plain ol' white guy that used to have a beard, and I love the company of Indian, Chinese, and all foreign people. It's interesting to learn about different cultures, and to make friends that have come from many different places. I've only had the pleasure of having one Indian physics TA, and we became very good friends. I had many Indian math professors and I thought they were all very good as well.

I like foreigners who speak English or at least make an effort to, and who make friends with Americans and don't form their own homogeneous group that excludes others because you need to speak their language to join it.

hey vicente, i am sorry for my last post in another thread. I did not understand your sentiment and got swayed with the term xenophobia you used on your last post.

Yo, this type of post fosters xenophobic attitudes and though that may not be the intention of the author, it certainly can be construed as that by others. In consideration of the international students who read this post perhaps you should reword your question so as to avoid the overt xenophobic tone it now has. Besides what does this settle?

There is no need for rewording. Xenophobes will vote "no" and xenophiles will vote "yes." You may interpret the results as you see fit.
