Which books are usefull?

Post by cavemanzok » Tue Jul 13, 2004 8:21 pm

I've heard that the Pink/Purple book is not very usefull. This may be the same book that you refer to as the REA book. I've been advised to instead find the copy of three previous exams and study those intensively.
Are there any other good books that people would recomend? Where can I find these old exams?
I appreciate any help.

Hey cavemanzok -

There is a discussion blooming over on "long term study strategies" under the GRE prep heading that is covering various texts, what books people used in undergrad, and also some lists of classics. Check it out.

As for REA books, the ones I tried to use in undergrad sucked.
