HI Hiesenberg!

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Hello friend,

Well all's I can say to calm you down is that they are probably looking to see that you pass some standard in terms of english speaking. If they decide (or have decided) to accept you it will not change anything regarding your status. I think the telephone interview by itself is a good sign and you should be encouraged. I can't tell you how to make the best impression over the phone. You should maybe do some practice interviews with friends that simulate talking about physics and your life...
