How important is Subject Test

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

very important, especially for international student, probably a make or break factor

I know a friends who got 2400 in GRE, 930 in subject test. he applied to Harvard, MIT, Texas, Columbia and still got rejected by all of them.

He ended up doing material engineering in a top 10-20ish Ivy

send in application early.
