Physics@Columbia

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Duke is awesome, Columbia is much more awesome, I guess!
 ( this ans matches to your Q very well)

The only thing that makes them aweful is that they are not going to accept me there!( The truth of the matter is, I am NOT applying there, Not a good place for CMT, but good for Exp only esp. in Duke)

Please don get mad at me after reading this post coz it doesnot contain any info that you are looking for!

Lesson:
TELL US WAHT EXACTLY YOU ARE LOOKING FOR! Which subfield in Physics!
(Please be careful, coz some of us might be more inclined to make comments on location, ranking, historical significance and other things about those Universities! )
