Hi all. Thank you for reading my post.
I am an international student (that lived in US for 12 years), and I am freaking out because I am not sure if some of the schools that I am applying for 'safety' may not be 'safety' after all...
I am just wondering if I need to apply to more universities with lower rank?

Schools that I am applying to (for HEP-th):
top 10s.
Colorado, Texas-Austin, U of Florida, UCLA, UC Davis.
Do you guys know any other really good HEP-th universities?
Thank you.
Do I need to apply to more schools?

You'll probably get in somewhere on that list, but there's no guarantee. I don't think it's possible to guarantee admission as an international student applying to US universities.poel5279 wrote: I am just wondering if I need to apply to more universities with lower rank?

As for other good schools, I posted about that here.
