Detailed GRE Solutions Website

Post by yosofun » Mon Oct 31, 2005 5:52 am

I have created a site with detailed solutions to all the GRE Physics
Exam problems:

http://grephysics.yosunism.com

The site has a variety of search features, as well as options for
posting user comments. It aims to serve as an organized source of
solutions for the ETS released exams. I have posted my own solutions
to start with, but users (you) are welcome to post alternate solutions
and to comment on my existing solutions.

Please check out this resource---and, if you like, contribute to it!

Thank you so much for this website! It is very, VERY, helpful.

I have one quick favor though...

I, like many undergrads, am taking this test on November 12th (just 12 days away....yikes), and was wondering if you could post solutions to the other exams sooner than the 8th as you say on your site. It would be incredibly helpful.

Again, thanks so much for the work you put into that site, it is an excellent resource for a physics senior undergrad.

I'm glad someone found it helpful. I'm currently in the process of publicizing it -- would you be interested in emailing a bunch of SPS, etc., to notify them of the resource. (Would save me time... would allow me to put more time into actually typing up the questions than various related administrative tasks.) Reply to yosun (at) nusoy (dot) com if interested.

I'm working on posting another exam or 2 by this Saturday.

(I'm attempting to type them up quite fast, so there might be a few typos or improperly-formatted sentences here and there--please notify me of any of those or anything you find confusing.)

Basically, I am just incredibly behind schedule on this... I was supposed to have posted this all a month ago.... but alas... if not for *excessive* homework from my courses!

(Hm, if you want to...... you could write flames to my prof's for assigning incredibly copious and time-consuming homework that detracts from my favorite gre-related project.)

fyi: http://www.grephysics.net

has been successfully registered and set up to go to that site. i'm still looking for a publicity/administrative-tasks staff (as mentioned above). you'd get your name credited once i put up a credits section after the 15th or so. so, will you join the staff of the most complete and easy-to-access source of gre physics solutions?

super-website

I want to add my Thanks for your website. It is helping immensely; I'm also writing on Nov.12, and am anxiously awaiting the posts of the other tests. But regardless I am appreciative.

I'd like to help, but I've got to study for the GRE as well as a huge looming research deadline. Good luck!!

i'm considering just having whomever knows about my site ( http://grephysics.net ) just directly tell their local SPS/physics student affairs office about it.

thanks for the appreciations. good luck to you too!

is there a way to get the complete answers in pdf form on the website? i'd like to print them out in their entirety. as in how the gr9677 was before it was completed?

hi, i will release the complete pdf versions after i've had some time to actually read through what i've typed up. there are probably a lot of minor typos, and i am hoping that users, like you, can help me find them all. (post a comment on http://grephysics.net if you've found a typo.)

Also: I don't recommend printing the solutions out (just yet)... since you will miss out on online user comments. Another user might have a more elegant solution than what I've posted, for example.
