Reccomenders Street address

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Reccomenders Street address

Post by dashapdv » Thu Dec 06, 2012 2:05 pm

Can I put in University/workplace address there? Or is home address necessary? Their addresses are not available anywhere and don't feel comfortable bothering them more than I already had.

Just use some common sense. Obviously the university address is sufficient.

Well, my common sense didn't come up with anything or I would not be asking. Who knows what is important for unfamiliar organization in the country I have never been? I'd rather ask than guess.
Thanks for reply.

Usually the professor's website or CV should have their official mailing address. If you are not sure, you can also ask the secretary at their department. But generally you can use

Their name
Their Department
Official University Mailing Address
