Undergraduate Conference in Physics in US

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Undergraduate Conference in Physics in US

Post by fznfire » Wed May 09, 2012 11:19 pm

Hi everyone,

I just came to learn about Gordon Conference. I am wondering if there are other similar opportunities for conferences around US. Please could you tell me about the conferences that would offer the opportunity to present research and meet more physicists...

APS has annual meetings for different areas in physics. Many undergraduates attend these and present posters, some even give talks. For example, the March meeting every year for Condensed Matter attracts 5,000+ physicists.
