question on update content

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

question on update content

Post by alphanumeric » Fri Jan 20, 2012 6:00 pm

Since I sent out my apps, I've had several things new--fall grades, 2 new fellowships, results of a competition I led, etc, that I plan on succinctly updating my update schools with this weekend.

I've also been accepted to a decent school (UCI) and offered the "most prestigious and remunerative" fellowship they offer, and I was curious if I ought to include this info in my update to other schools. I don't know if this is taboo and a quick search didn't come up with any topics on the subject. Ideas?

Definitely send your updated resume to graduate secretary or update your online applications. but you don't want to talk about your other admission. most certainly not for universities in the range about UCI.
