Is grad school an option

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Is grad school an option

I am currently a senior at University of Central Florida and hope to graduate this spring. I will be applying to graduate schools this December.

My overall GPA so far is 3.5
My physics major GPA so far is 3.3

Quantitative GRE - 770
Verbal GRE - 710
I don't know the written yet.

I will be taking the PGRE in November. Students from my school typically don't score very well on the PGRE.

What are my chances of getting into grad school and what schools should I even apply to?

Thank you for any suggestions you might have.

Well, someone with the capability to search the profile threads would see that yes it is an option. They'd also be able to get some ideas on where to apply. You're not going to get people to tell you anything with a post like that, read the forum guidelines and search before you ask. And don't double post.
