Should I mention my publication on my SoP or PS?

Post by toex » Wed Jun 29, 2011 3:38 am

I participated in a soap bubble research in year 1, my job was blowing a soap bubble into a rectangular frame, and then recorded the moment it burst using a high speed camera. The paper title is something like dynamics of topological changes blah blah blah, it is submitted to Soft matter with a second author.

Obviously my research is simple and not advance (though the physics is not!), but that's the only paper I got. Do you guys think mention this in my SoP or PS would help my application?

Unless your SoP is already packed with all of the research you've done since, you should include it.
