Starcraft 2

I'm really debating on whether or not to get it. I'll be entering grad school next month and I'm wondering if I'll have any time at all to play. I don't want to waste money just to blueball myself with probably the most anticipated game of the decade.

Are you guys going for it?

starcraft 2 is so addicting. i played through all the beta phase, i even played beta for 2 hours before i took the pgre. it all depends on how you liked the beta, but if you're hardcore about the campaign, then definitely buy it.

yeah I think I'm just going to get it, it's too great of a thing to pass up. I haven't played the beta but I'm totally in to the campaign.

Speaking of Starcraft 2, the GOMTV GSL Open Season 2 is going to start next Monday, woot! The prelims are almost done. So far some famous Starcraft: Broodwar pros have made the cut for Season 2. People including Cool, Intotherainbow, and of course, the original master and first bonjwa of Broodwar, SlayerS_`BoxeR`. The foreigners (aka non-Koreans) that have made it include TheLittleOne and Idra.

The GSL Open Season 1 finished a couple weeks ago, but here is a link anyway. I believe the price for all the previous season VODs is 10$. Season 2 VODs are probably going to be 20$ pre-season (or 10$ post season).

Just had to share my excitement. I don't suppose anyone else is that much of a nerd on these forums?

geshi: haha, i thought i was the only one who watched replays of the pros. Im a zerg player, and idra is good, but he always plays a little too conservative/predictable. I like Cool, isnt he the one they call "the fruit seller?" I always watch the commentaries.
