Giving GRE Twice + TOEFL score

1. what are consequences if you give gre twice? Pls, tell me all demerits if i give gre twice.
2.does toefl score matter for scholarships? if yes then for which scholarships does it matter and if no then pls, elaborate.
3. how much weight-age is given to AW section in GRE? what can be the avg score in AW section for good universities?

To the best of my (limited) knowledge:

1. Many prospective grad students take the GRE two or more times. As long as you improve, no admissions committee will care that you took it more than once.

2. The TOEFL is there to ensure that there won't be a language barrier limiting incoming students' ability to interact with professors/colleagues/students when they work as Research Assistants (RA's) or Teaching Assistants (TA's). It shouldn't be important for scholarships.

3. The AW score will not be a very high priority for most admissions committees. I would guess that they would be more forgiving of international student (going out on a limb here...).
