Any one in Syracuse or near around?

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Any one in Syracuse or near around?

Post by blackcat007 » Wed Jan 06, 2010 3:59 pm

I had mailed my transcripts for University of Syracuse on 14th Dec 2009,, from 24th dec onwards the tracking status shows that it has been sorted with other packages and are ready for delivery at the Syracuse post office.. but even today.. it has the same status.. is this delay due to bad weather? anyone in Syracuse or near around can you tell me whether bad weather is a cause or is it due to some other reasons..

I couldn't reach (I don't know why) Syracuse PO 13217 by telephone. I called the USPS customer service, they were shocked to see the status :x ...
they even filed a complain on behalf of me. lets see what happens.. :x

Next step is to call up Syracuse physics department and let them know what's up and that you're in contact with the post office trying to get the matter resolved. They won't hold it against you. Keep trying to get in touch with the post office in Syracuse and bugging USPS. Keep on it until Syracuse U has your transcripts. Try emailing the post office or see if you can find another phone number. Make sure you are calling during business hours.

Problem solved.. :D . in fact the problem never existed.. Syracuse received my transcripts long back, since they don't have a tracking system , so I couldn't know whether they received it. USPS tracking is showing all crap..

Thanks for your help, grae..
