Are the L&L books on Quantum mechanics, classical mechanics, theory of fields, and statistical mechanics good resources for test prep or are they entirely overkill?

Not overkill, but hyperkill.. there will be plenty of time to straighten up your basics and even study advanced level after the test. As for the test is concerned try to focus on the basics..masterofthevoid wrote:Are the L&L books on Quantum mechanics, classical mechanics, theory of fields, and statistical mechanics good resources for test prep or are they entirely overkill?
