astronomy grad advice

Post by mayflwrntc » Mon Sep 14, 2009 1:42 am

I'm a math major with an astro minor, and I want to go to graduate school for astro. I'm worried about the physics GRE because I don't have a very thorough physics background. Does anyone know any average scores for astronomy/astrophysics grad programs? I would guess they are slightly lower than for physics programs, but I really have no idea. Also, any advice on good astronomy/astrophysics graduate schools? I have good recommendations and research experience but only about a 3.5 gpa. Thanks!
