Hey guys
I did the Nov 8 PGRE in Ireland and I'm wondering if the scores are available worldwide or just in the U.S so far? Where are the rest of you posting from?
Same... =/ I'm hoping that since my grades, general GRE scores, research experiences, recommendations, and (based on my professors opinions, my statement of purpose/goals,) are all strong, they'll overlook a very poor PGRE.coreycwgriffin wrote:I just got mine...
I'm pretty sure I should just quit now...it's bad.

I expected a 900+, though my major is EE.
Which tier of university do I have a great chance to get in?

-They know that the PGRE isn't a great measure of an applicant
-If you say something like you got stressed out, didn't prepare right, whatever, it looks even worse on you
-Many excuses will look like whining
Instead of excusing your bad PGRE score, it would probably be wiser to spend your SOP saying how great you are, how great your GPA and research experience are, etc. You're trying to sell yourself, so don't try to excuse a minor flaw; instead, convince them that the rest of the package is so great that the PGRE score is meaningless in comparison.

Make sure to use your registration number, not SSN.
