Are calculators allowed? Pretty sure I read that they were not, but i just wanted to double check.
Thanks and good luck
calculator?
Re: calculator?
No they most certainly are not allowed. You should memorize easy roots like Sqrt[2] and Sqrt[3] and their inverses just for time's sake. That and remember how to do long division (yuck!)

Re: calculator?
Nope, no calculators. Another thing you might want to memorize is the sins of the five most commonly used angles.
I know it's stupid, but since I've got a bad memory, I found this little trick helpful in memorizing them:
sin(0)=sqrt(0)/2=0
sin(30)=sqrt(1)/2=1/2
sin(45)=sqrt(2)/2=sqrt(2)/2
sin(60)=sqrt(3)/2=sqrt(3)/2
sin(90)=sqrt(4)/2=1

Re: calculator?
Calculators are not allowed for the exam.

I thought I am having memory depletion, but alas....secander2! wrote:...... since I've got a bad memory.
