Nice pix. It's cool to be able to attach a face to the name grae313. You guys look like you're having an awesome time.

I couldn't get myself to do any serious traveling this summer, but since I got to see a lot of awesome nature/scenery at my REU in Idaho, my fancy has been satisfied for a while. Hopefully I'll get myself to visit some of the historical sites in my city... I'm finally starting to master this public transportation system (4 years overdue)... :)

I don't have many good pics, but would someone like to explain this to me?!?!?

In a parking lot near a restaurant I often go to with my parents, I'm confused by what appears to be two "one-way" signs pointing in opposite directions.

Sweet pics. It must've felt pretty liberating to be biking across country after graduating.

Indeed. Given the avatar, I was expecting you to look more like this...

That looks like a sweet trip. Have fun!

Yeah, I know what you're saying dlenmn. I always figured grae would be look like that thing on the back of dollar bills.

Incidentally I hope your boyfriend is up to the challenge of carrying you all the way to Alaska. That's one hell of a piggyback ride.

Congrats on the awesome trip! I'm thinking of getting a bike now from your inspiration.

There is another example of the contradicting one-way signs if you go to the exploratorium in San Francisco.

May the wind be always at your back,

You riding all the way up to Alaska? God Speed! I live there and drove down to Indiana for college, a drive I do not look forward to making again. I guess mine wasn't part of a vacation though...

I'm on my way back to AK tomorrow after studying abroad in Melbourne, Australia. Not a summer vacation, but beats the crap out of Indiana.

Safe travels and enjoy the trip. Alaska is beautiful this time of year (hell, any time, but it's dreary in the winter).

By your logic you must be an awfully cute kitty cat.

Oh Garden, my poor nose! Damn you people for making me shoot tea out of it! Anywho, best of luck on your trip! I'm stuck at home studying for quals since I am so introverted and don't like Nature much.
