Does anyone know if buying the 3rd edition is worth it, if you have the 2nd? I have heard there are some updates, but is the text the same?

I was kind of being facetious, but since you asked, I find Goldstein to be exceptionally poor in the way it's laid out. There's little sense of continuity, and topics that seem, at least to me, logically related are scattered randomly throughout the book.
