Canadian schools are big on numbers
If you have good grades and GPA scores, then you will probably get in.
The thing is that most of them want you to do a Master's there before they let you do a Ph.D. So that when you start your Ph.D. they can assign you to a supervisor right away instead of spending an extra year or two taking courses.
If you apply there you will end up doing a Master's. A pre-Ph.D. Master's and not a terminal Master's, of course.
