What do Emails about Scholarships Mean?

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

What do Emails about Scholarships Mean?

Postby HannaGray » Fri Jan 13, 2017 1:57 pm

So, I am becoming fairly neurotic about my applications. I think I am probably reading into my emails a bit too much.

Anyway, I got an email from CU-Boulder with "New CU-Boulder Scholarship Opportunities Available" as the subject line. In this email are three graduate student scholarships that I could apply to. Now, is it reasonable for me to read into this a little bit? Could this /possibly/ mean anything about whether or not I have been admitted?

I got the same, so I assume it means nothing.

Please disregard the email you may have received recently. This email was sent in error.
