Does professor Weinberg still take students in UT-Austin?

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Hey,

A pretty late offer from UT-Autsin. Just curious whether professor Weinberg is taking students or not?

Thanks!

No, he isn't. Which isn't surprising since he is over 80 years old. (I've heard this directly from people at UT)

Yes. His office is right next to the grad lounge.
I think he is teaching general relativity next semester.
