Berkeley Fellowship

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Berkeley Fellowship

Postby gradapp2015 » Sat Feb 21, 2015 2:47 am

Does anyone what kind of fellowships are offered for incoming grad students at Berkeley? The FAQ of their admissions page says that all applicants are considered for fellowship, and those who don't get a fellowship are required to TA... But they don't list the fellowships available. What sorts of deals are they?

Usually this just refers to the source of money being an award instead of being TA income. From what I've seen, most fellowship offers are about the same in terms of stipend as TA/RA ships, but the source is just different. Your experience may vary though!
