Columbia and Washington

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves.

The answer to this question is the same as it is for every single question of the form, "When is <Insert University> going to send acceptances?". Nobody knows but you can probably get a reasonable estimate by going to thegradcafe.com and looking at previous years acceptances/rejections.

Now stop asking these types of questions.

If you mean Washington Seattle, they already sent out some acceptances in January. I have not heard from Columbia University yet.

Do you mean Washington University in St. Louis? They sent out the first few acceptances last week...
