CME

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Can anyone give a list of universities, which have big experimental condensed matter physics groups except those top 20 schools in us news website?

Your question prompted an uninspired google search which revealed the microsoft academic search beta.

http://academic.research.microsoft.com/RankList?entitytype=7&topDomainID=19&subDomainID=6&last=0&start=1&end=100

I had no idea it existed but it's pretty awesome. Idk how robust their methodology is.
