Application status for Cornell Applied Physics

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Application status for Cornell Applied Physics

Postby highbounce » Tue Jan 12, 2010 12:48 am

For people who applied to the applied physics program at Cornell, how do you check the status of your application? I tried to call them but no one ever answers the phone. I really hate it when a school uses embark, at least apply yourself lets you see your status.

I want to assume that all of my stuff are there. But after today, I can no longer take that for granted. Apparently Stanford does not have my transcripts in record (they emailed me) even though I sent them a month ago.

Nevermind, I guess a little patience never hurts.

I applied to Cornell Astro, not heard a peep from them except a generic your-application-has-been-submitted the day I finished my online application. The same problem with most of the Embark applications.
