Why are you taking a PhD level statistics class in the first place? Especially without having take classes to prepare you? Drop it like it's your job.

If they ask you what a Lebesgue integral is, and you don't know what it is, you might want to drop. Your only in your second year, so there is no need to stress yourself out over a class you might not yet be prepared for.

Sounds like you're in over your head. Drop the class and take a load off your back. Retake the class at a lower level or when you have time to handle the material.
