Logistics of Visiting

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

in most cases the school takes care of that... at least for me they seem to do that.

Schools are taking care of all that for me.

I am visiting a school in three weeks. They are paying for the hotel for two nights and all travel expenses.

Same for me. I will be visiting 5 schools next month and all of them find a hotel for me without my involvement. The only difference is that some book my flights themselves, while others have me book them and then reimburse me.
