So who is going where?

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

So who is going where?

Postby tleilax » Sat Apr 08, 2006 9:42 pm

April 15th is looming, so I thought I'd see how many will be joining me next year, and going to different places as well.

I finally decided to go to Stanford (Physics, not applied).

CONGRATULATIONS, EVERYONE! :D

Is there any advice you would like to give an upcoming graduate school physics applicant?

interesting that everyone here mentions a namebrand school. (i.e., no one has yet to announce, I'm going to a non-ivy or non top-10.)

as for the grad school profiles site:

i didn't get to scoop up enough money to purchase the domain name, so it's currently hosted as a subdomain:

where am i going?
i'm going to study with harley.

I'm going to University of Colorado, Boulder. Now there's a non-top 10!

Actually UC-Boulder is top three in atomic and molecular physics. :

true

That's true, but I'm probably not doing AMO, so there you go. A non-top-10.
