" please type or print" what do they mean?

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

" please type or print" what do they mean?

Postby saksit » Sat Dec 06, 2008 6:24 am

Sorry if this question looks stupid. I'm international and this make me confusing.
In the app form which is pdf, there is"please type or print" under the blank where i suppose to write my name. But I don't have acrobat writer nor english typewriter. I don't know whether "print" mean use capital letter or printer. I think I am going to use a pen. Would that be allright?

Print in this context just means "handwritten but not in cursive"
