What's the difference between domestic and international ap?

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

What's the difference between domestic and international ap?

I got my bachelor degree outside the U.S and just became permanent resident here.
Should I be regarded as an international or domestic applicant?

Not sure, because I'm in a similar situation, but I imagine we're probably domestic (we are for just about everything that doesn't require a security clearance) because there aren't any visa issues for the school to deal with and I'm fairly sure there aren't any restrictions on use of federal/state funds. There are fellowships restricted to U.S. citizens, but for admissions purposes permanent residents should be domestic.
