Fulbright Graduate Award

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Fulbright Graduate Award

Post by jan_kwapisz » Thu Dec 06, 2018 1:34 pm

Hello,

I'm an international student applying to US for PhD. I was nominated for Fulbright Graduate Award which can fund my first (and possibly second year) of my potential PhD. Is it a big asset for application?

It would certainly help, I don't think anyone can tell you just how big of an asset it would be though. I'd assume if you got that award though you'd stand a real likelihood of getting into the top PhD schools in the US, I don't know what your stats are though and etc.
