Engineering?...

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Hi,

I'm interested in applying for applied physics PhD programs, as well as engineering programs. Are there any [cool] forums like this for engineering fields? For example, I'm interested in Stanford's iCME program right now, but I wonder if anyone here knows much about it?

I haven't found much in the way of engineering forums either. I did start an engineering PhD applicant profiles thread at thegradcafe, but it's still a pretty small data set - not much interest in/attention to the post, even though I stickied it.
