Condensed matter physics at Binghamton University

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

Condensed matter physics at Binghamton University

Post by bahar.physics » Mon Apr 02, 2018 1:43 pm

Hey guys,

About Binghamton University, this university does not any rank in physics. But, about condensed matter group in this university, I think it is very strong! Stronger than some ranked universities. As a person who really cares about advisors and this topic: topological insulators, both theoretically and experimentally, which this university is really rich for this topic.
Do think this university is worth to attend? While you have an acceptance from 61 rank university?

Thank you
