What's everybody doing over winter break?

  • This has become our largest and most active forum because the physics GRE is just one aspect of getting accepted into a graduate physics program.
  • There are applications, personal statements, letters of recommendation, visiting schools, anxiety of waiting for acceptances, deciding between schools, finding out where others are going, etc.

What's everybody doing over winter break?

I'm just curious- since we're finishing up applying, what do we do now?

I'll start: I'm relaxing and sleeping! Today I slept 12 hours. Other plans include reading and learning new things...but first, rest.

Pretty much just rest. I mean we’re seniors we’re supposed to relax, right?

Sometimes I email my research advisor and ask him to recommend papers to read (but often end up not reading them due to procrastination.)
