I am a student from Bangladesh majoring in Industrial and Production Engineering. I am studying Physics as a 2nd major. I am very much interested to research or work in a physics related field. I want to pursue MS/Phd in physics. For which areas of physics I can be eligible for? I have the following courses in my undergrad.

Physics:(all 4 credit courses)
1.Classical Mechanics
2.Classical Electrodynamics
3.Quantum Mechanics-1
4.Quantum Mechanics-2
5.Atomic and Molecular Physics
6.Nuclear Physics-1
7.Solid State Physics-1
8.Physics Practicals

Calculus:(3 credit courses)
1.Differential Calculus and Solid Geometry
2.Integral Calculus and Differential Equations
3.Vector Calculus, Matrices and Laplace Transformation
Other math courses:
1.Numerical Analysis
Physics related:
1.Mechanics,Waves and Structure of Matter

u said u can't take a second major in Bangladesh: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=5344&p=45875#p45875

if u already took a 2nd major, then u are done! finish u'r Bachelor, Write down GRE and apply. Most importantly, you have to choose your own field what interests u most. we can't choose it for u.

@Nik...I couldn't take a 2nd major in Bangladesh. But I am so lucky :D as My university has started this system from this year. I am not telling you to choose research areas for me. :)

My question is: After completing these physics courses will I be able to do physics research and can I apply to US universities for MS/Phd???
