Guidance

Post by varadarajan » Thu Oct 21, 2010 12:02 pm

HI! I am Varadarajan, finished my masters in physics from University of Madras, Chennai, India. My PGRE is on Nov 13 2010. I would like to know, if anybody have already given their exams this april or october. If so can anybody tell me about how the exam was and important things to be followed. My GRE general score has gone down a bit low. If my AGRE is high will it boost up my chances for getting into US universities.

I am applying for my PhD. I have CGPA of 3.4 and 3.3 in my bachelors and masters (converted to US scale)

Thank You.

for the PGRE experiences see this: http://www.physicsgre.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3429

as far as the general gre goes, the higher grades are always better they might look at you quantitative part but they most important factor is the PGRE. your GPA in Master is a bit low, considering the average grade is graduate level courses is B. but still you can compensate that by good PGRE score.

Good Luck
