I don't understand why some of you chose detail research when apply physics grad school.
As I know, there is no requirement to chose spesific research when apply.
Is there any advantages of doing it, where we must include or state spesific research

Well it show you know what you want, and that's good.
Also some department like to enroll a certain amount of people in experiment and another amount in theory, so they must know a little bit what you are interested in.
On the other hand I don't think it's a good idea to be too specific... you need to be open to new projects ...

Some schools have an option where you pick your fields and you can put it in your statement of purpose as well, by putting either your interests or a group/person you want to work with
