The Standard What-are-my-chances Thread

I've been having some serious doubts about my ability to pursue a postgraduate degree in physics due to my low GPA. At a very good school, I have a 3.3 GPA in physics, with a 3.0 overall at my college. I'm going to be a senior this fall, so I have not yet taken the GRE, however I'm optimistic as I feel like I'll preform better as a test taker. I know my GPA is very low for most trying to apply to graduate school, but I am getting research experience this summer. I'm good at being realistic, and I know I won't get into any top Grad schools, however I'm just wondering my chances at any mid tier or respectable schools. I'd rather face the harsh reality of it now rather than getting my hopes up about anything come this time next year. I'll definitely have some solid Rec's from professors, but who doesn't.

Thanks for all the help

I'm in the same boat as thereisnobathroom, does anybody have an answer? I actually also have a thread about something quite similar.
