Hey all,
So I had this chem teacher from hell. Literally. If you ever see a teacher by the name of Gupta teaching chem, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! Out of 40, only 7 remained in the end and only 2 of us had A's, the rest had C's, D's, and yes, F's. She's a beast. Anyway, she gives us this horrendous final worth 30% of our grade and even added on new chapters for the final so there was a total of 10 chapters and none of it the easy stuff, if you know what I mean. I was so tired, up for 2 days studying and I couldn't even see straight. So I bombed it. She did it to me. Yup, she broke me. That's her mission according to other students! I went from a 91% going into the final probably getting a low C on the final, giving me a low B for my final grade. So, once your 4.0 is gone, is that it? Bye bye forever? I guess I can retake the class but I have to look into that. Anyone experience the same thing???
Thanks!
I've lost my 4.0 average. What now?

Yep, sorry brah. You're definitely not getting into a good grad school.

Seconded. And it's definitely all because your Chem prof handed out some F's. What a bitch.

Yeah, not a single person with less than a 4.0 has ever been admitted to grad school. It's a shame isn't it? I wouldn't even apply, if you got an F, because they'll send your record to the department of labor and black list you from working even at Micky D's.
Seriously!?!?! Thankfully most admissions committees are not comprised of people who are even remotely as unrealistic in their standards as you. Especially since they know how different each system and professor operates. Not all GPA's are created equal.

If that is your concern, you obviously do not deserve to get a higher education at a graduate institution.
