so i am going to get a F in an intro ee class. it was suppose to be a intro qm theory class for ee majors, and i took it because i was a double major in physics and ee. how badly does failing a ee class look for grad app? i am nearly done with physics classes, and i have around 3.84 in the major. gre is 930.

It doesn't look good and I'm not really sure that anyone needed to tell you that (Is it not reasonable to conclude that good grades are good and bad grades are bad?). However, your GPA and GRE seem very strong so as long as you address this one unusual mark on your grades and can provide some reasonable rationale for the F, then you probably will be alright.

Just out of curiosity, were you planning on retaking the class and is it required for your major(s)? I ask because I've never heard of a university that will allow you to graduate if you failed any of your required courses but it seems to me that you are suggesting that this is going to be the final grade you will have on your transcript.
