If you apply to grad schools before the winter break (where many of the deadlines are), how will they see your 4th year marks? Do you send them updates? Also, do they look at what courses you've signed up for in second term, even though they'll never see the mark?

Your last semester grades don't factor into the admissions process. You'll have to send the graduate school your full transcript with your BS degree completed eventually for clerical purposes, but at that point the admissions decision is made and you have already moved in. Some applications have you list the courses you will be taking, but your last semester *grades* will not factor into admissions decisions. For schools that have an early admissions deadline, they may not see your second to last semester either.

You have to send your transcripts when your final grades are in.

if you are going to take special course like project or grad courses that think will help you in the admission process, explain it in your SOP.
