I just wanted to warn everyone to watch out for student fees when considering your offer.

CU Boulder charges $ 2-2.5k in mandatory student fees. Offer letters do mention student fees, but they "forget" to mention the actual amount.

So be sure to subtract 2.5k (if you intend to take 3 classes each semester) out of your offer letter before you make your decision.

I enquired about this and couldn't get a straight answer on the miscellaneous fees. Also couldn't figure out if they continue to pay partially for student insurance after two years or not. Their offer letter is also very unclear on finances. Anyone else admitted to Boulder and not getting a clear picture of finances?

U of Oklahoma does the same, for roughly the same amount. Sometimes students have to take out loans.
