Master Program in Europe. Is it easier? Do they pay?

I wonder if I should apply some master programs in Europe because ones(PhD) in US are extremely competitive and I don't mind going to Europe for 2 years.
My questions are.... :
1) Are they relatively easier to get in? (I'm thinking about grad schools in Switzerland, German, France, Holland)
2) For master program, do they usually waive tuition and provide financial aid like US PhD program does? (I know UK barely does it)
3) Any suggestions for good & relatively-easy-to-get-in schools?

Thank you!

I know that tuition for many institutions in France are ~$500, however aside from that I'm just as lost as you are.
Just be aware that sometimes european degrees are met with some skepticism compared to american degrees, so I've heard.
