I'll be graduating this coming May as a double major, with BA degrees in Physics and in Math from a small school not well known for Physics. I was hoping to get a few suggestions for reach schools, some schools I'm fairly sure to get in to, and safety schools.
GPA: ~ 3.0/4.0
(New) General GRE:
Verbal:158 (79 percentile)
Quantitative: 163 (88 percentile)
I did a 10 week internship at Oak Ridge National Labs over the summer, and have done two research projects.
Unfortunately I couldn't take the subject GRE (my fault), and I'm afraid that's seriously limited my school options. Theoretical physics appeals to me much more than experimental, but I'm still not sure what specific area I want to study so I've been looking at schools with a broad range of theoretical subjects.
