Is anyone here into planetary science/atmospheric science?

Oh, and please do tell about your research interests.
I'm into modelling exoplanetary atmospheres (most of the work is done in planetary science departments rather than astro ones)

I am seriously considering to switch this field. I am going to UMBC and they have a very nice atmospheric science program. it seems to me that they have a good joint research with NASA. I applied for physics though but I am going to contact them and ask.

Hello!
I'll be studying geophysical sciences (probably specializing in atmospheric science) in UChicago
I'm curious how you guys will prepare yourself for a switch in discipline?? What kind of resources can we share??
