In terms of the length of the personal statement they allow you to write, or in terms of the amount of supplementary material they want from you?

I'm most interested in astrophysics, but I'm also open to physics, biophysics, systems biology, and bioinformatics.

Pittsburgh doesn't seem to have a limit, and you can still apply!

In terms of top schools, Berkeley has two essays, both of which can be fairly long (and one of which they permit to be pretty personal).
